I came across this brand when the owner, Salem Mitchell, posted about it on Twitter (and I love that; always advocate for your brand!) and I knew right away I wanted to give Salem Goods a shoutout on backBIPOC.

“Our mission is to help you disconnect, enhance your focus, and renew your appreciation for the present moment. Whether you complete our puzzles alone or use them to connect with loved ones, we aim to bring you a sense of peace and accomplishment through this simple joy.”

Puzzles are my favorite thing to give as a housewarming gift, or even as a birthday or an “I was thinking of you” gift, and extra extra bonus points when the puzzle features fun design or good photography. Luckily, this brand has both. (Their stop sign “DO NOT TEXT HIM” puzzle? Genius. Art.)

I’m definitely gonna keep Salem Goods in mind the next time I want to give a creative friend a nice little reminder of what Salem stands for: that “Mindfulness can be playful.”
